A positive assessment from IK4-TEKNIKER at BIEMH 2016
The technology centre can only draw very positive conclusions with regard to the event. It must also be underscored that, compared to previous editions, visitorship has increased.
IK4-TEKNIKER has reviewed BIEMH 2016 and can only draw some very positive conclusions such as a larger number of visitors compared to previous editions, new spaces dealing with issues specifically related to the sector itself and many interesting enquiries received.
Advanced manufacturing
In the course of the 29th edition of BIEMH, specifically focused on smart manufacturing and industry 4.0, IK4-TEKNIKER put its stakes on showcasing the progress made in the field of metrology as a key element for precision manufacturing, additive manufacturing and cryogenic machining in advanced manufacturing processes, collaborative robotics as an element used to “customise/increase the flexibility” of production processes and industrial maintenance. All of these fields are essential to consolidate Advanced Manufacturing in the Industry 4.0 environment, a new industry paradigm whose aim is to transfer technology rapidly to productive environments, a relevant subject that was addressed during the trade fair.
That is how IK4-TEKNIKER participated in BIEMH 2016.
