Coating of locks and handles
Design and construction of an industrial PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coatings machine providing a metallic appearance and durability to the company´s products and adapted to the geometry of the parts.
M-912 PVD machine for coating locks and handles, with 925*1200 mm capacity. In addition to the design of a layer adapted to the substrates to be coated.
Design and construction of an industrial PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coatings machine for providing a resistant layer that would produce a metallic appearance on the products (locks, handles, fittings, etc.).
A machine was designed, adapted to the geometry of the parts, in order to optimise the processes and achieve competitive prices. The PVD technique used in the design of the evaporation sources was the cathodic arc (patented proprietary technology).
The activity included the design of a layer adapted to the substrates to be coated.
The zirconium-based coating designed, provides durability and inalterability to the finish, thanks to its high surface hardness, resistance to aggressive cleaning products, resistance to scratches caused by keys or rings, etc. The designed layer also remains unaffected by UV rays and is resistant to corrosive environments, such that the coated products are suitable for outdoor use, including at beach-front locations.
The coatings are clean, ecological and environmentally friendly.
