IK4-TEKNIKER meets all expectations at its first edition of MetalMadrid

The technology centre believes that its presence at the trade fair has been very positive and stresses the fact that visitorship was very high.
The ninth edition of MetalMadrid, the Industrial Trade Fair hosted by the Madrid Community, was a major success that attracted many people. The event took place on November 16 & 17 in Hall 4 at the IFEMA Trade Fair facilities in Madrid and was visited by a large number of people that did not want to miss the opportunity of visiting nearly 270 stands, with IK4-TEKNIKER occupying one of them.
It was the first time for technology centre to be present as an exhibitor at stand B22 from where it showcased its general capabilities and, more specifically, metrology solutions for the aeronautical sector.
In particular, the technology centre displayed its capabilities related to component verification and large means of production: on the one hand, calibration and certification of machine tools, coordinate measuring machines and precision mechatronic systems, and on the other, the geometric characterisation of parts by performing on-site dimensional measuring operations.
From the stand, IK4-TEKNIKER also displayed its tracer laser equipment used to perform volumetric compensations and verifications of machine tools and coordinate measuring machines.
The technology centre achieved all the goals that had been set for the trade fair. In the words of Antonio Gutiérrez, the Metrology Manager at IK4-TEKNIKER: “Considering that it was our first time at the exhibition, we were visited by many people on both days and received interesting enquiries. We also established new contacts and strengthened our ties with regular customers. We have very happy about our participation”.
