We are looking for a person to fill a Robotics position at Tekniker’s unit of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems.

With an R&D focus and a vocation centred on technical excellence, the selected candidate will join a team made up of professionals with extensive experience in national and international projects, although specifically geared towards transferring knowledge to the industry.

The ideal candidate will have Higher Engineering qualifications or a Master’s degree obtained in the last five years, with prior knowledge on robotic programming applied to handling operations acquired during the bachelor thesis phase as a first job experience.

They should possess suitable team working skills to interact comfortably when addressing technical issues with customers and collaborators and feel encouraged to contribute new ideas and given leeway to work with a certain degree of autonomy.

Listed hereunder is the initial technical knowledge required:

• Research related to standalone systems applied to handling operations and strategies
• Knowledge associated with the development of applications for industrial robots (Comau, ABB, Kuka)
• C and C++, Java and Python languages

Additional knowledge we consider relevant to support the development process:

• PLC programming (Siemens Beckhoff)
• Planning and control algorithms for handling machines
• Automatic learning
• Vision
• Knowledge related too ROS architecture software and real-time environments
• Linux

A solid command of Spanish and English is required to participate in international R&D projects. Fluency in conversational Basque would also be an asset.
