LUBMAT-IBERTRIB 2024 presents a full programme of presentations
Experts from the field of lubrication, maintenance and tribology will showcase their knowledge, experience and projects from the 18th to the 20th of June at the Kursaal of Donostia.
The LUBMAT-IBERTRIB 2024 Conference will cover the latest news and trends in the field of lubrication, maintenance and tribology, accompanied by international experts from the 18th to the 20th of June, at the Kursaal of Donostia.
The event schedule, co-organised by the Tekniker technology centre, Bureau Veritas, Atten2 and the University of Lancashire, proves just this and includes talks and presentations that will cover innovative topics such as the implementation of 4.0 maintenance strategies and the use of ecological lubricants, in an aim to teach attendees about practices that respect the environment and society in general.
The conference sessions will begin with a keynote presentation that will address challenges and trends in the industry for the coming decade. Subsequently, on Tuesday the 18th, Cristina Ortega, from the company AVS, will discuss the latest scientific-technological challenges in the space field; on Wednesday the 19th, Silvia Lazcano, from Doba Solutions S.L., will delve into the importance of early error detection in the aeronautical sector; and on the 20th, Itziar Landa, head of digitisation at Petronor, will address the capabilities of artificial intelligence and 5G for optimising and monitoring the life of industrial assets.
The Conference will also welcome prominent figures from the international scene, with speakers like Markus Matzke, lubricated systems expert from BOSCH (Germany), Ali Erdermir, nominated as “Fellow of the EU Academy of Sciences” (Texas, USA) and Aldara Naveira from SKF RecondOil (Sweden).
Along with the fifteen main presentations and the over 100 communications that will be presented during the three days of the conference, the conference will also have various stands showcasing cutting-edge technologies and different solutions for current challenges in lubricant management, industrial maintenance and tribology, giving attendees the chance to discover the latest trends applied to innovative projects.
All of this in a space designed to interact with attendees and share experiences, providing networking activities in which professionals from the sector can establish strategic contacts, exchange knowledge and collaborate on future projects.
The conference programme is complemented by a visit to the facilities of the organising entities, offering attendees the opportunity to learn first-hand about the technological advances and projects being carried out in Tekniker, Bureau Veritas and Atten2.
