More than 100 presentations in the final programme of ISEM 2018

This year´s specialised event on electromechanics will be held at the Bizkaia Aretoa conference centre in Bilbao.

The final programme has been closed only a few days before the opening day of the 19th edition of the ISEM “CIRP Conference on Electro Physical and Chemical Machining”. More than 100 presentations and various tourism activities await attendees and their companions at this new edition of the conference to be held held from April 23 - 27 in the auditorium of the UPV (University of the Basque Country) at the Bizkaia Aretoa centre.

This new edition will start with a reception followed by three days full of lectures and activities addressing the following subjects:

  • Electrical discharge machining (EDM)
  • Electrochemical machining (ECM, ECDM)
  • Laser beam machining (LBM)
  • Chemical processes
  • Additive manufacturing
  • Hybrid processes
  • Plasma processes
  • Electrodeposition
  • Ultrasound machining
  • Water jet machining

IK4-TEKNIKER and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) are the two organisers behind this event that will address the most recent trends connected to electro-physical and electromechanical machining. There will also be a number of extremely diverse and attractive tourism options included in the programme of activities.
