Tekniker and Hexagon close the “Manufacturing Intelligence” seminar in Madrid
On November 22, Tekniker and the firm Hexagon closed the “Manufacturing Intelligence” seminar held at the technology centre’s headquarters in Madrid.
How can digitisation help to verify the condition and quality of transmissions? This subject was addressed on the third and final day of the “Manufacturing Intelligence” technological seminar jointly hosted by Hexagon and the Tekniker technology centre at the latter’s premises in Madrid.
In the course of the event that took place on November 22, experts from both organisations presented real-life case studies that explained how the effective application of digital technologies featuring electronic devices and IT programmes can be applied to improve the efficiency and quality of different types of transmissions.
More specifically, the Romax Enduro software tool developed by Hexagon was presented. Thanks to this tool it is possible to develop different transmission models quickly and intuitively. Additionally, all components can be checked to verify their operation.
This development was very well received by professionals from the aeronautical and automotive sectors based in the Spanish capital and the seminar ended after three days of technological discussions addressing the most recent developments and trends reported in the area of advanced manufacturing.
The previous seminars, held on May 31 and June 21 at the same venue focused, firstly, on underscoring the fundamental role metrology plays as an essential support to improve the quality and efficiency of processes in the digital industry and, secondly, the June seminar covered several recently reported trends on how laser technology can be applied when manufacturing and measuring industrial components.
