Tekniker and the University of the Basque Country strengthen their collaborative ties
Tekniker and UPV/EHU bolster their collaboration in terms of specialised research and training for qualified talent after more than a decade of partnership and subsequent to the agreement signed in 2018.
Tekniker and the University of the Basque Country /Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) are to reinforce their collaboration in terms of research, training, technology transfer, innovation and knowledge dissemination after more than a decade of partnership and subsequent to the agreement signed in 2018.
The subdirector general of Tekniker, Luis Uriarte and the rector of the public university, Eva Ferreira, met this morning at the technology centre’s facilities to review the activities jointly carried out by the technology centre and the university.
Discussions also focused on the following issues: the training required by researchers and professionals to ease their entry into the labour market; collaborative actions in the area UPV/EHU educational activities; efforts in progress to intensify collaborative actions between different groups at UPV/EHU; the space reserved at Tekniker for the UPV/EHU Classroom; joint outreach activities aimed at society and internal training actions involving both organisations.
As regards the future, the ultimate goal is to give continuity to these activities that started in 2008.
