Tekniker joins BAIC as a partner organisation
Its aim is to contribute to accelerating the implementation of AI in the Basque industrial sector
Tekniker has joined the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center(BAIC) as a partner organisation to speed up the implementation of AI in the Basque industrial sector by contributing its extensive experience in this field.
It was on December 21 when the Managing Board of BAIC approved the incorporation of Tekniker and another seven new partners that already formed part of the Basque Artificial Intelligence ecosystem, namely, Aratubo, Fagor Arrasate, Ideko, Ikerlan, Mondragon Goi Eskola, Ulma Medical Technologies and Deusto University.
As regards AI, Tekniker has a workforce of more than 60 people dealing with 30 projects associated with national and European research actions and direct technology transfers to companies.
The technology centre integrates and applies AI technologies to its solutions focused on process optimisation, automation and robotics, sensors, inspection and measurement, in-use behaviour of components and industrial maintenance and carries out this activity in diverse sectors such as industry, energy, health or the agri-food business.
